Finding Your Roots was a PBS documentary series hosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr. It debuted on March 25, 2012.

Each episode reveals a “Book of Life” — meticulously compiled with research from professional genealogists. It provides celebrities with insights into their ancestral histories, familial connections, and intriguing secrets about their lineage.
